The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has appointed Bike Team as the official broker partner for its advanced motorcyclists.
The agreement means more than 3,000 motorcyclists who are members of the RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders (RoADAR) network will qualify for premium discounts from the Equity-owned brand.
New business from RoSPA advanced motorcyclists, underwritten by Equity Red Star, will attract discounts of up to 25 percent. Volunteer tutors within RoADAR groups will automatically qualify for free passive tuition cover, particularly useful when training motorcyclists on the road.
Bob Smalley, RoSPA’s chief examiner, said: “Bike Team has developed a fine reputation for promoting safer motorcycling. Our partnership agreement recognises its commitment to rewarding responsible riders.”
Bike Team cover for RoSPA advanced motorcyclists features policy enhancers including EU use of up to 90 days, free NCD protection and discounted additional bike cover.
Paul Davies, product and development manager at Bike Team, added: “RoSPA advanced motorcyclists have attained the highest level of training and road craft, so they represent the lowest risk. Our partnership with the charity also provides further opportunities to promote our safer motorcycling messages.”
There are more than 50 RoADAR groups across the UK.
